I have become more interested in buying domains recently, and one of the things I commonly see in domain sales are people listing the number of Overture keyword search results.

In terms of traffic do the Overture keyword matches really matter? These are not people who are necessarily going to visit that particular domain...correct?

Thoughts?

if the domain name contains keywords that are searched for on overture, then they have definite value. I believe that just means if you optimise a website using those keywords and get a number one position, then that is the number of visitors you could roughly expect.
