Getting the most out of it - Getting drunk, meet people & tempt the CPanel guys or whoever you get with to give you amazing discounts... whilst they are drunk.

That's pretty much how I remember it last year :)

This will be my first time also but I'm only going 1 day for the exhibits then the Netdepot/GNAX party later that night.

This will be my first time at HostingCon. I feel a little better with it being in D.C. just because I live here. Drive tomorrow morning isn't going to be fun though...

Well this is my first time too, but yesterday meet did not made me feel that i was for the first time and all alone :), Got to know many guys, Russell, Jordan, Ian, Michael, Nils, Karl , Wow the first day itself i met many personalities :), If someone else wanna meet me you can easily figure out as i will be wearing a turban haa haa.
