Which according to you is the best free or low priced ordering and customer manager system for web hosters? Is there one such script which you let your customer first search for a domain and if its avalaiable place an order alongwith hosting package?

Modernbill is too expensive, are there more such script as phpmanager. i would want multiple orders from one customer to be grouped under single id which phpmanager lacks.

Also can you guys tell me what script ******.com uses for ordering, i liked it.

******.com most likely is using a custom system that they built or had somebody build for them.

thanks phpcoder, as much i love modernbill i do not want to rent it monthly either, i would live to have a software which costs one-time and which i can customize a bit to suit my needs.

phpManager will probably be your best bet. Its cheap and they are releasing some very nice modules now :)

is there anyway i can get one of the older version of modernbill, i want test and customize it but the newer is too expensive, i would want the version which preferably is not send encoded.

HostChamp, Bravenet offers free live support software along with upgraded plans. We are currently using the free plan, which does have some limitations.
