Express Transfer is a great feature for transferring files between server. The best feature is that it will change all the DNS records to point to the new server so you won't have to update the Nameservers at the registrar right away. However, when I last used it, it appeared to have disabled all the passwords for the accounts on the old server. That does seem like a good feature, however, I want to know if anyone else experienced this and if this is an actual feature of Express Transfer.

This disabling of passwords is not a feature of our account migration system in cPanel/WHM. If anyone encounters this issue in the future, I recommend contacting our technical analysts so we can determine the cause of this issue.

I have performed many express transfer, when doing an express transfer the account on the old server gets suspended. I think this is to avoid the customer logging into the old server and update their files since the account has already been moved to a new server.
