I'm looking for offers in the mid+ $xxx range for this incredible "Keyword Rich" Web Hosting domain name.

:agree: It's a premium TLD and anyone who sees it will know instantly what your website is about!

Thanks!

Just FYI... "supplyhosting.com" is not a TLD. "COM" is the TLD.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_level_domain for clarification.

Good luck with your sale.

Actually, as stated in information in that link you provided and in my description of the domain ".com" IS a TLD.

SupplyHosting.com IS a TLD! I'm unsure of what you would consider a "TLD" if your saying you have to ignore anything that comes before the ".com" as that wouldnt even be a domain name- let alone a TLD.

Er.. not to take this off topic (I will be happy to clean it up) but he is saying that supplyhosting.com is NOT a TLD which is correct.

The TLD is .com

supplyhosting.com is NOT .com

I can't think of a better way to say it but labgeek is right in the strict sense and you are not.

*just let me know and I will be happy to delete these posts and modify your original to make it accurate.

Sorry, please re-read the link I posted. It's not what "I" consider a TLD. TLD is defined in the RFCs. Not trying to pick, but you were/are using TLD incorrectly and thought you'd might like to know.

Domain names are heirarchical. COM is the top level domain in this case. "supplyhosting.com" is a 2nd level domain inside the "com" TLD. But "supplyhosting.com" itself is not a TLD. You can even have 3rd or fourth level domains within your second level domain such as hosta.division1.supplyhosting.com and hosta.division2.supplyhosting.com ... in this case division1 and division2 are 3rd level domains both having a "host" which could potentially point to different physical hosts possibly in different geographical locations or different organizational units.

But very few TLD's exist and you cannot buy one.

From RFC 1591:
In the Domain Name System (DNS) naming of computers there is a
hierarchy of names. The root of system is unnamed. There are a set
of what are called "top-level domain names" (TLDs). These are the
generic TLDs (EDU, COM, NET, ORG, GOV, MIL, and INT), and the two
letter country codes from ISO-3166. It is extremely unlikely that
any other TLDs will be created.

Still I wish you the best of luck on the sale. And didn't mean to take it too far off track.

Ok it's not a Mustang it's a Ford...
I'll have to disagree with both of you, as to the definition of what "TLD" means and which domains can claim to be ...or not to be..lol ..a TLD.

What your both saying ( as I see it) is NO domain can claim to be a "TLD" ...and that just makes no sense to me at all.

I'm not too worried about this post being cleaned up, but thanks for offering.
