I am looking for a payment-processing solution, that has good handling and coverage in Brazil.

Is anyone familar with such a service?

The solution needs to cover the popular payment options in Brazil as well as using Portugese and Real as the currency.

Payment Gateways company here started after the "Mercado Pago", implemented by Mercado Livre (Brazilian eBay), so all then have a "buyer protection" that hold the payment for some days before you can withdraw, transfer or use to shop.

MoIP: at beggining, 2 days for "instant" payments like Online Banking transfers, current moip balance, debit cards, etc and 31 days for credit cards. After some confirmation, they open you an option to receive credit cards payments in 2 days as well (for 1% more). Is full featured and all team is very prestative. They have a dispute center very similar to paypal.

f2b: this is more "old school". they still lack some automation features (the "pingback" to confirming payments have a manual "switch" to be pressed in their website), however, have the option to automate sending monthly invoices by mail (I mean common mail, NOT e-mail), which is still interesting for some type of companies. 1-2 days money repassing in most cases. Very trustable.

pagseguro: formely BrPay, acquired from UOL 1+ yr ago. Very good, but 14 days money holding in any payment method. Still use it sometimes, because, although moip support a lot of payments methods (including Oi Paggo - a payment method integrated with Oi mobile company and very similar to Visa Mobile Pay) is still lacking Mastercard payments for now.

pagamentodigital: created by BuscaPe, a very known price comparison and online shopping portal. Known as the first to implement a debit card to withdraw the funds in ATMs. I had some problems in the past: I registered there only to receive a R$ 35.00 payment, then I see in the withdraw form (which only opens after you have balance) the minimum withdraw amount of R$ 50,00. This was not mentioned in the Terms of Service and they refused to do a manual procedure in the beginning... However, they ended allowing the withdraw. Anyway, this was 2 years ago and a lot things changed there - e.g., this minimum limit for withdraw do not exist anymore.

Any of them feels a lot more trustable than PayPal. It's very rare to hear about pagseguro or pagamentodigital putting an account in "limited mode" - moip and f2b NEVER did it, for what I know.

Please note he asked for a solution that covers the payment methods popular here. 2CO only cover Credit Card payments. Also, international cards are not too popular here and 2CO does not seem to support cards with "VALID ONLY IN BRAZIL" written aside it, only those marked as "INTERNATIONAL CARD" (I have 2 Mastercard cards, each is marked in one way).

2CO may be seen as an alternative to PayPal because of the Payoneer card, for those who currently offer PayPal as an option for customers with international card, but is far away from be the main gateway/processor for a brazilian store.

2CO do not have Brazilian Portuguese, as well, and a lot of terms related to shopping/paying/delivering are completely different from European Portuguese. People tends to leave out in the middle of the purchase process if he feels unsecure, and a "not well written page", and this is the sensation for brazilians when reading european portuguese pages - all know that brazilian portuguese is slightly different, but it's common to see online frauds catch unaware brazilians, with pages bad translated from english, and because of some words being different, they can't differ from a Portugal oriented page and a true "bad-translated" phishing page.

All companies I suggested are very known here, support all payment methods we use (except check, which is very well covered by what we call "Boleto" - very better, in my opinion), including online banking from most of major banks, and all major credit cards (mastercard and visa are 98% of the market here). They also offer a "parcelating" of the total amount purchased from 2 to 18 parcels (usually with a low interest charge for buyer of 1.99%/m. that can be covered by the seller if he wants to), a feature which I do not see in international payment gateways.

Very good solution. The most close to PayPal (all payments are instant processed, no money hold).

I also need a brazilian payment method to a online shop, but I'm not in Brazil so i don't have those things like CPNJ, CPF , CEP or brazilian bank accounts.... if someone knows a solution, please tell me.

I also heard about allpago but I don't know if they can help me... still waiting for a reply.

For Brazil look up information about "Boleto Bancario" payment method. It's quite widespread in Brazil for online and other payments, and payments can be made via online banking or bank deposit. As Fernando mentioned many Brazilian payment service providers only cater to Brazilian merchants but there are some that aggregate for international ones.

Hi, Does anyone know who i can contact to integrate some of these Brazilian payment methods? For example implementing the Pago Seguro API? And if you know where i can find a credit card processor where can process for Brazilian Card Holders which Pays out on a regular basis- please let me know. it would be a great help.
