I would like to get 2 sponsors for www.vgcity.com . A new gaming web site that managed to get 5000 <b> UNIQUE </b> hits a day in a week. The hits are increasing daily and we are looking for a sponsor so we can afford some things we need at the site. You may expect at the end of the 3 months to have a very large advertisment place as we expect to get 500 000+ after we can invest the money from the sponsors for promotion.

The banner will go at the top on EVERY PAGE. There is currently no banner but it will be added. Each sponsor will get 2 banners to put a total of 6 rotating.

That's a fair price. I like the layout and graphics on your site. Do you have any statistics screenshots?

Yes, I will take them right now. By the way, the layout isnt finished yet and there are many more features coming soon that users will just love.

That's a pretty grand estimate. :D

Anyway, 100$ will get you maximum 10 000-50 000 impressions... =p . So even if the estimate fails (which i doubt it will) you will still get a fair deal.

I am confused, you say you get 5000 uniques a day - in a week. yet your graph shows 3600 page shows on one and only one day. You show no inbound links on marketleap. You have 54 users.

3600 page shows on a forum? Split 5 ways? Thats 21600 page shows a month at $33 per month? Roughly $1.50 cpm for forum advertising? So the same 15 people can see the ad?

Forums are notoriously bad advertisement investments because of the normally small repeated user base, $1.50 cpm is extremely high for your forum. Why not wait and prove your numbers first? Until then, this is a terrible ad buy.

Did you read everything I wrote above? I guess you didn't.

1.- The forum opened this week.
2.- No Advertising was done before saturday.
3.- I stated that the stats program was set up at 12PM EST today. I will take a new screenshot some minutes later to show you the 5000+ .
4.- Reason, if it gets 3600 in 8 hours, how much will it get in 24 hours?

there is only 54 registered members, so the page views wont get your banner shown to many people - $100 == far too steap.

Your saying 3600 page views. Not unique hits. Theres a *HUGE* difference...

seiya. you run a hosting company, if you think the advertising will be profitable to the advertiser, why dont you use it to advertise your site? :D

$100 so you can spend it and advertise your site on google, wouldn't it make more sense if i spend the $100 and advertise my own site on google?

personally i dont buy advertising from anyone asking on WHT, because all the slots get filled by webhosts and the viewer of the banner will probably see about 10 different hosting offers..

I prefer sites where no other host advertises.

Alright. Lets make this better. Only 2 spots(2 banners each). That will be 2 banners out of 6 rotating for 100 dollars, 3 months. :) The other 2 will link to my other web sites (no business sites). :)
