Greetings all - it's official, I threw my hat into the hosting business and need someone to develop a better site for me. If you visit www.gcshosting.com, you can quickly see my design talents are limited.

This post probably won't be of interest to most of you, but I'm counting on a few of you "knowing someone" who isn't in the hosting business and needs some space for the next (at least) 6 months. I'm willing to provide our GCSbasic plan - it's not much, but it's more than most regular people need. (200mb space, 3gb bandwidth, etc).

Anyway - if anyone is up for this offer, please shoot me an email or contact me on any of the IM's I have listed. Of course I'd like to see some "previous work". PHP knowledge is a plus - just a personal preference of mine, seems like it loads quicker than badly coded HTML.

If things work out as planned, I'd be willing to take the developer on as an "as needed" employee so that we can offer professional web-site development via the hosting site. Not sure if there's a big calling for this, but it's nice to offer.

Thank you for your time.

Craig

Hey,
Watty, guess what, I think it would be better if you put some money with that you know. If you want quality money is a good idea to spark some interest.

Now when I say money, I am not talking about some 15, 20; I am talking around $35-$50 because it is very pain staking to design layouts. I am interested but not in the hosting plan.

Kempes90 and Urbantwelve,

Thank you for your posts - and I do understand and agree with what you are saying. What I'm trying to "develop" here is a basis for FUTURE designing projects for the person interested - and at the same time get a more professional look and feel to our site. Basically, if/when we get a customer who desires GCShosting to design their site for them, I'd simply turn the project over to "you" for development.

I in no way intend to insult anyone with my original post. I know people feel very strongly about their talents and their worth. The two of you sound like you are "established" designers, so maybe my post would be better suited for someone who has the talent and simply needs to get a foot in the door, so to speak.

Respectfully,
Craig

I didn't expect to be spammed so much. Obviously I'm wrong with my thinking.

Perhaps one of the moderators will close/delete this thread for me. Thank you.
