If Nokia N97 is a smart phone then I'm sure its possible. Perhaps contact WHMcs support department and ask them. They would be the best people to ask in such a situation. Let us know if you submit a ticket what they say. Best of luck!

Forget it! I went to the Nokia store up london and played with the N97 and the touch is disgusting, its so slow and crap. After looking abit more I've changed my mind and now thinking about getting the HTC Touch Diamand 2. Any opinions on this phone?

Get HTC Touch Pro2 and then flash it with Windows Mobile 6.5. It has a Qwerty keyboard which is handy when replying email. Windows Mobile 6.5 makes it much smoother than 6.1.

Came very close to getting it, was very impressed with it overall but the UI is just rubbish.

The browser is very good so you could easily use WHMCS on it, but in the end I went with the HTC hero.

HTC have promised a free upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 if you buy a touch diamand 2. The thing with the touch pro 2 is that its abit more expensive with only a 3.2 camera. Where as diamand 2 has 5.0. Its so hard to pick.

I would go with the G1. I can do everything from that phone. Support, shell scripting, edit my website etc.. Great phone.

I'm waiting for the Samsung Galaxy/i7500 to come out, but I am tempted by the HTC Hero - looks like a sweet phone and would be great for remote admin.

Yeah me too. The HTC is a sweet phone, it just lacks grunt making that lovely interface lag sometimes. Its got the basic guts the same as the Magic.

I have the Nokia N97. The web browser is great and you can use it with WHMCS with fair ease. There's slight rendering hiccups with the browser, but then the WHMCS interface isn't exactly simple.

I've also managed to install a lovely SSH client (http://bd.kicks-ass.net/koodaus/putty/) for managing servers. It handles IMAP/POP emails reasonably well and MS Exchange too if you're into that.

The latest firmware is a little buggy, but there'll be plenty of firmware updates to come (I believe the latest firmware at time of writing is the second one after the release firmware).

People moan that the interface is slow - well it's not really, it's marginally slower than other things (literally like 200ms) and a bit slower if you're hammering the CPU or have lots running in the background. And people also moan that the UI is ugly? What? It's not exactly stunning, but it's far from ugly - seriously.

As a piece of hardware, it feels pretty solid and looks beautiful and the snap you get when you open it up for the hardware qwerty keyboard is great. I also find the qwerty keyboard very easy to work with.

The only thing I'm disappointed with is that it only has a SIP stack for making VoIP calls, it doesn't have a SIP client, so you can't actually initiate any calls. I'm hoping they're going to build that functionality into some firmware into the future.

The Nokia N97 should definitely be seriously considered.

You right about that the Nokia N97 it does look good but when I touched it in the Nokia Shop I justed didn't get on with prob because Im used to my ipod touch. Im thinking more about the HTC touch diamand 2 it seems to be able to do everything, good camera, good web, looks great, looks like a normal phone so I want look like a wannabe business man with it. It doesn't seem to get a alot of attention. The only. thing is it doesn't have a 3.5 audio jack to listen to music.

I should have tittled this post about the Touch Diamand 2

Man if only this type of stuff was around back when I first started.

I bought this t-mobile pda phone which is like ancient in todays standards. I remember I would have to wait a minute or two just to login to my Modernbill installation lol.

Go check out the Nokia N900 http://www.nokia.com.au/find-products/all-phones/nokia-n900-01?cmpID=KAC-PPC#/main/home

Full Linux OS, an absolute brilliant phone.
The browser is the same as your desktop browser any site I mean ANY site you can render on your desk top computer you can pull up on the N900 even full flash sites.
Lets see you do that on a Iphone.

Loads of software, think of Linux programs that will run on Debain and then think of that on your phone.

I would have though it would handle pretty well, ive got an LG Pop myself as a replacement for my old SE. Works on with WHMCS even though it isnt 3g capable, loading times are average and pretty much everything is fully functional in WHMCS with the phone.

Maybe look into getting WHMCS mobile interface? http://whmcs.co.uk/mobileedition.php

Ohh...which are the phones that currently support SIP clients? Indeed a must have feature when you have a lot of international calls.
