I am looking for a programm or script which I could use to manipulate http log files.
The manipulated log files should display increased visits and hits to the web site they
belong to, but with sohpisticated algorithms. So the script should not only double or triple
the log entries, but should be able to add accessing hosts (maybe taken from other log file),
should add additional "hits" and "visits" randomly or so. A programm that just manipulates
the output of a log processing script like Analog or Webtrends wouldn't be enough. It should
tamper the log files directly. Is there such a thing?

thats a very good question... why in the world would you want such a thing?

The only reason i could think of is if he was running some kind of traffic building service for his clients. And wanted to show them that it was working by faking traffic.

Well there has to be another reason? right
