How many hosts were effected by nortpoint going out? We weren't but I know, http://iboxhosting.com's line went out and we took some of their clients. Anyone else have any problems?

Why would Northpoint going out affect a hosting provider (aside from possibly knocking out office connectivity?).

Because many hosts got their connection through them or a ISP, that used them as their backbone.

Why on earth would you host websites over a DSL connection? I know this has been discussed to death, but it really is a bad idea to run a web hosting business over a DSL line, cable modem, or anything else like that.

Geez, we have a T1 line!! A redundent one at that! We are never down so why does it matter? We have currently to different T1 providers. This is not the issue here. I am simply asking who was effected by northpoint.

You misunderstood, I was using you in a generic format, not specifically related to your company.
