Ok, I have a questions I can't find a concrete answer for. I ordered a second server from ServerBeach, and was wondering how I can set it up to where ns1, ns2 and ns3 point to both servers so I don't have to set up more nameservers for my domain.

In the past we have bought a domain for each server, and it's really starting to piss me off.

Do you use cPanel/WHM?

if you use cpanel or whm, just configure the DNS cluster. that way you'll only have one set of nameservers that works with both servers.

but do note, if your main server (the one that holds the nameservers) go down, your secondary server will also have problems loading sites through domains.

We use that between two of our servers and our primary server has been giving us a lot of issues the past few weeks causing problems for the secondary server - so sometimes, I think it wasn't the best idea...but other times, it was a great idea because it's easy to migrate user accounts during a request without having them change their nameservers causing less downtime which means more compliments from the clients :)

Is there a more reliable way that still uses my domains or anything of that nature?

We actually have redundant DNS setup. If our main DNS servers goes down, we have a secondary DNS server running.

That way, clients can still login to WHMCS and access their account, support tickets and etc.
