Hi, I wondered if there are any current clients at this time now in the world of these four cc processors who had comments on them,

Host Charge
PayQuake
2CheckOut
ReveCom ( PaySystems )

Although I know HostCharge currently dont accept signups, I'm thinking when they do maybe go with them. Although I'm not 100% sure. I currently accept PayPal also although am also looking at a proper cc processor also, as although personally I don't believe alot of these "stories" about PayPal, one can gain a lot more sales accepting CC from people who dont have a paypal account.
I like the fees at Hostcharge and PayQuake especially, but I find 2CO and REVECOM will both give me exactly the same for everything so really between those two it is more a case of quality and support.
Any comments on these four, or any new ones that are maybe even better?

-My thoughts and personal oppinions based on the PayPal "issues" come from my personal great experience with them. Although I know in the world that things are not all hunky dory, but I personally think sites like PayPalSucks and NoPayPal, etc., are all people who are against PayPal for some odd reason (Why, no one knows). Please do NOT post comments here about what you think as PayPal as personally I'd class it as Spam and I'm pretty sure some other people would too since this post is ONLY about (or supposed to be) Credit Card processors where you enter CC details, not pay through e-mails. Thank you for your co-operation.

any other time I'd suggest paysystems (revecom), but right now they're having a few 'issues' with recurring billing that don't seem to be going away. With luck they'll be sorted soon. Beyong that I have no experience on any of those others.

Yeah thanks for that Greg.
I'm thinkin of rulin 2CO off my list, as they are currently having a lot of probs.
Personally I like Hostcharge and PayQuake.
(Those two very much they give good fees - shame HostCharge aint acceptin)

Does anyone have maybe any "bad bits" about either HostCharge or PayQuake? They both seem very good to me (even though a few months back I'd have gone with ReveCom) I'm not so sure about ReveCom or 2CO (More not sure about 2CO but ReveCom have changed very dramatically since I last visited their website when it was black/gold and ugly and not sure if that is a good sign or not).

Any more help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I just checked PayQuake's website, and they are soo different than hostcharge because they provide a real merchant account. The question now is that which gateway are they using .. authorize.net ? .. or what ?

It is included free and also has no monthly fee

Is payquake going to be around in 2-4 years? I have been turned off by what I am hearing from BBB nad WHT members.

You should definitely check out the threads on PayQuake as there has been a lot of negative freedback :(

Also, they use authorize.net.

Also, PayPal does not require you to have an account with them to purchase with a credit card, it simply signs the person up for a paypal account when they make a purchase from a provider who uses paypal ;)
