Just a quick one:

I'm looking for feedback regarding what others see as the "preferred type" of Reseller Services.

Is it:

1. Buy bulk space and email accounts on a certain platform offering xx number of domains within the "reseller space";

2. Purchasing package "a", "b" or "c" offered by the host at a discounted rate;

3. Dedicated servers for administration by the reseller;

or

4. Dedicated Server adminstered by the Host company?


Any feedback on your experiences with customers or preferences as a reseller is appreciated.

I guess it depends on what stage of your business you're in. For someone just starting out without a lot of money to spend, choice 2 seems like the best bet. It lets you get into the business, sell the service, provide support, etc. without having to buy the equipment.

I would think once you're more established, it would be better to own the server yourself so you can make all of the decisions regarding it.
