Hello guys,

Is there way to convert DirectAdmin backup to cPanel one and then restore it on cPanel based server ?

I think if you can run a transfer process through the WHM interface. That is transfer from DA server to cPanel, correct me if I'm wrong.

I however have not tried it.

Why would you want to take a perfectly good account on a perfectly good control panel and ruin it by putting it on cpanel? ;)

In my case, the 2 companies I was working with (Servint and Powervps) stopped supporting DA.

The built-in utility for WHM needs root access to the live DirectAdmin server to transfer the account. Our migration utility does not currently restore from backups made by other control panel software.
