- Do not Add Tripod or Geocities they are not even worth mentioning.
- No Ads or special offers
- Avoid what you can find at clickherefree.com
- State why they are good

Example + My Submission:
My opinion f2o.org is the best.

ASP, Cold Fusion, PHP, Perl, and Python.
yourname.f2o.org subdomain
One MySQL database
75MB disk space
3GB data transfer/month
yourname.f2o.org email (via POP3 or webmail)

Cons: Hand checked

www.Portland.co.uk (or f2g, and the million other portland aliases) comes secound.
Con: Their unreliability.

No Banners & No Popups
15MB Web Space & 100MB Monthly Bandwidth
Ideal for personal domains, family web sites & test sites
Supports all domains names and subdomains

(I am not affiliated with the above or have any contact with the admins.)

Ok let me rant a little bit please. First off, how do you expect them to stay alive if they have no way of making money? No banners, ads etc. These companies wont last long cause of this. This is the reason geocities and others have lasted long is because they have a way to cover atleast costs.

It is probly the best marketing scheme.

Cause I have a family to feed and the stores don't give me free food because they have extra sitting on the shelves.

everyone wants somthing for nothing, if you can't deal with popups or banners then learn how to cough up $5 a month for a cheap hosting account.

Most hosts pay for bandwidth in bulk and will still have to pay for it wether or not it is used.

Just because you say no ads you can still hide some 404 redirects and other annoyances for me and still make revenue from the idle bandwidt.
