Anybody have any suggestions for a billing system that can support multiple brands and multiple merchant IDs?

To elaborate:

company1.com would be one brand and orders placed through this site should be charged through one merchant account. The client side should be accessible through the domain company1.com.

company2.com would be another brand and orders should be charged through a second merchant acocunt, though these different merchant accounts could be through the same payment gateway. Again, client's should be able to login through a URL at company2.com.

Such a billing system would facilitate easily adding new brands while allowing a central management for all clients.

We've already looked into ModernBill and WHMCS, but they do not support such a setup.

This would be a good feature if current billing systems offered it, however I haven't come across any that do offer this. You may want to try ubersmith.com, they may have a solution similar to this; however I'm not sure.

I tried the Pro demo but there is only settings to setup ONE company and not multiple companies. I am interested in this since I am currently making this very functionality to be available in WHMCS.

Please let me know if ubersmith can really do this.

You might just have to make 2 different setups. I can't seeing it costing you any more except for another billing software license. You would need the 2nd merchant account regardless so expense wise its about the same.

WHMAutoPilot can manage multiple order profiles or satellite client installations from within one control panel:

You might have to check about which gateways they support and if the software has all the features, but it can definitely manage multiple profiles from the same administration panel. :)

I talked to Ubersmith support again and they said that the multiple brands/merchant accounts is available in every version of Ubersmith. I haven't tested out any of their versions yet so I can't confirm.

From what I can see inside of Plesk Billing, it should be able to handle what you are looking at.

I just installed the trial version of Ubersmith Lite. I've only been playing with it for an hour or so, but I have to say that I am impressed with how they handle the multiple brands.

There is section under "setup & admin" that allows you to manage your brands. Once you add a secondary brand, the drop down in the upper left hand corner allows you to select from your existing brands. After selecting the brand you want to manage, the software instantly reflects all aspects of that brand. Very slick.

Nice Ryan, I will keep this in mind if for others in the future. We use Ubersmith here too and love it. :)

I think only Ubersmith supports this option - I have seen it also in action at some companies.
