View Full Version : Examining my post count
Rochen 11-09-2002, 07:23 PM I should really post more around here :D I just looked at my post count of a mere 900 odd and I see people around here who have joined within the last month or so with over 1000 + I have been here for going on 11 months now and still only 900 :eek: :D
webarama 11-09-2002, 07:24 PM More is not better. Here is mine;

Never said it was. Was just comparing how I had a lot less posts than people who had been here for a much shorter period of time :)
Acronym BOY 11-09-2002, 07:33 PM postcount != content
Its not how much you post that matters. Anyone can post a few thousand "lol, omg funn" posts. Its what you post.
susannad 11-09-2002, 07:42 PM I didn't mean you rochen, and not even these forums, it's just I've noticed around the place that some people think high post numbers demonstrate something
what the something is I don't know
DanielP 11-09-2002, 07:44 PM After all..... most say its not the size that matters but how you use it...
Or am I thinking of something else....:nuts: :nuts: :nuts: :nuts:
Rochen 11-09-2002, 07:45 PM I personally think the way vB.org and SitePoint is setup is a fairly nice idea. The way no post counts are shown without actually going into the user's profile.
Darth 11-09-2002, 07:51 PM *100 post counts for sale* price - $900 :D
IGobyTerry 11-09-2002, 07:52 PM Daniel - Daniel - Daniel....
You saucy boy....
haha I just quoted some line out of Romeo And Juliet. I don't like Shakespeare either. I'd much rather read a story written by poe, even though some of the stuff he writes about is so far out there it's not even funny.
theqase 11-09-2002, 07:54 PM darth, are you willing to separate? i could use about 25 or so... i dont have the money for the full 100
Darth 11-09-2002, 07:56 PM heh $1* per post?
* $900 set-up fee applys ;)
theqase 11-09-2002, 07:57 PM screw that... i will find someone for cheaper, and no set up fee:angry:
IGobyTerry 11-09-2002, 07:58 PM I'll sell ya all of my posts for $100.
Darth 11-09-2002, 07:59 PM I'll probably get banned now for advertising :D
theqase 11-09-2002, 08:01 PM i hope so... and then me and whoever bans you will split your post count among us.
hah;)

He wants a quality service, not some junk which will disappear in six months time. I will sell you mine for $10,000 but guarantee the posts wont disappear in 4 months time :D
* Comes complete with a 30 day** money back gaurantee :D
** Day means 1 millisecond.
IGobyTerry 11-09-2002, 08:03 PM By all my posts I mean, as many as I want to give him. So really he can only have 600 before I say that's enough. And no refunds.
derek.bodner 11-09-2002, 08:09 PM I'm really slacking.

Kaumil 11-09-2002, 08:11 PM More .... can be posts like this one I am posting.... useless ;)
ckpeter 11-09-2002, 08:14 PM Hmm....the first part of the discussion about the value of post count is great, but then now it seems that it has become a "increase your post count" type of thread.....
Peter

trenzterra 11-10-2002, 11:19 AM look when i registered and my postcount.
Phrozen 11-10-2002, 11:36 AM Trenz, it's only because you spend all of your ten year old life over at FWS. :stickout:
Errr... These types of threads are almost enough to make me switch off post increments for the Lounge.
