Then you do the subtraction: 10 - 1 - 0 = 9. Take the number 11 for example, 11 - 1 - 1 = 9. All the numbers from 10 to 19 will result as an answer of 9. All the numbers from 20-29 will result as an answer of 18, etc. The numbers 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, etc. are multiples of 9. If you look on the page with all the images of the tools, #9, 18, 27, etc. all have the same image. However, this IS a multiples-of-nine trick. Every time you load the page new, the tools pictures in all the multiples of nine are the same. Check the tool in 9, 18, 27, etc to see.
