I lately received a 150EUR payment. Yes i am EU people. Unlike US people, we have no option to block non-verified buyers. They neither allow direct credit payments for EU people while US/UK/CA people can enjoy this feature.
I consider this totally unfair, itīs just like our Finnish Nokia would sell year 2004 ****** handphones to US people while EU people can enjoy the latest technology...

Thing is what pissed me off is that PayPal API send "ACK" to my automation which means "go ahead we have accepted this payment" and then of course my automation confirmed this money instantly as it should to this client account.

However same time PayPal opened a dispute regarding this payment and this amount is put to hold on my account until they have investigated this payment. This way all abuser can abuse their flaw even more causing only trouble to the seller while PayPal "washes" their hand this way putting all on the sellers neck.

Allright, they may suspect this payment is a fraudulent but still this is a flaw because when such an issue occurs, their automation should not never put seller payment on hold while their automation confirmed this payment.

This buyer already used this money and my loss have occurred. So in other hand, Paypal works in "one way" only and all the loss is put on sellers necks.

Is there any other more fair payment processor on US or should i just stick with local credit card prosessing company on Finland instead?

Has any other experienced similar issue that sucks big time? Itīs been now one week and they are still reviewing it and naturally that money is still on hold...

Have you tried authorize.net or 2checkout?

Have you tried authorize.net or 2checkout?

I did not received any reply when i sent inquiry to authorize.net. I have made 2 checkout account but i need to still investigate better how this system work.

I feel kinda sad after coding/testing some months ago full support for PayPal including their direct cc payment api and then i found out after sending eight emails to paypal (hours writing and one week waiting) that they do not offer this feature expect to US/UK/CA people...

Itīs not easy to be a PHP etc. developer.

Service is delivered instantly in a digital form. My clients will get credit to their internal accounts what is worth of their paid amount. My system has internal account system. Hopefully you got the point.

Biggest issue with this is that imagine when i get my software to itīs release date, i cannot even think about instant online delivery for PayPal payments after this issue.

This will cause trouble to clients because now they need to wait for my approval. Basicly this kind of flaw kills point of any automation when i cannot trust to my processor.

Simple fix would be, decline that payment instead putting it hold on sellers account while confirming it same to the client. Let me guess, this is too much asked from them.

I will change asap. to some else processor before further losses will occur.

You should change the instant delivery setup. Using a credit card processor will not solve this problem, you will still be hit with charge-backs 30-60 days later.

You`re right about that. However this is an obvious flaw. Itīs really frustrating contact them regarding this issue because my last support request needed eight different paypal representatives and one week time until finally the last support answer solved issue. This means about half of the support staff does not know their features properly or how their system works + US have more features than EU people.

I will stop now my crying here now but itīs now obvious that the biggest is not always the best solution when it comes to payment processor.

Could you stand yourself this kind of behaviour that you have a lesser features while certain countries can enjoy full features? I bet not.
