Ok here's the deal...

I'm looking for a good webhost to host my own personal site. I'm looking to get my www.mywebsite.com name along with a company to host it.

Here's what I need:

I would like to spend no more then 10 bucks a month.
I would want to have minimum of 50 megs of space.
I'm not too picky about transfer because all i'm hosting is html content and pictures of family, wedding ect...
I would really like good customer support, since the only websites I have done have all been on my own personal ISP's free space. So I would like to be able to call a 800 number and have friendly people answer my questions. I hate waiting for e-mail. Now I don't need this 800 number to be a 24/7 number either but it would be nice.
I need CGI script support and hopefully a company that can provide free CGI script utilities like counters, guestbooks ect...
I also will be using Dreamweaver and Flash MX to make the site so I guess I need them to support that also.

Any help would be appreicated and if someone would like to help me out i'm usually on AOL and wouldn't mind chatting to learn some more; my screen names are: Cad of Frostfell (during business hours PST) and CB KJ at Home all other hours.

Again thank's in advance for the help. :)

Hey Oregon,

You should be able to find what you are looking for. Many of the hosts that advertise here offer more than what you are asking for. Your best bet is to post in the "Web Hosting Requests" part of this board, and highlight that you want phone-based customer support, as that is probably the item that will weed out the most hosts.

Good luck,
Matt

Hi:

If you want specific offers from web hosting companies post this in the following forum:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=32

Web hosting companies are not allowed to respond directly with offers in this forum. By moving your request you will get A LOT of activity.

That should be no problem. 90% of the hosts will fit your price/requirements.

This will limit your list of options drastically. Not many do offer phone support at least not at low prices. Be careful choosing an unknown host who offer this as often all you get is a recording telling you everybody is busy and just leave a message

If you post a request in the requests forum ask for a host that uses the cpanel controlpanel. Cpanel has the option to install those scripts with one press of a button. No knowledge required.

I also will be using Dreamweaver and Flash MX to make the site so I guess I need them to support that also.

No support is required for this. It works on all servers

Olm.net and webaxxs.net provide toll-free phone support.
I haven't looked at their plans recently but one of their lower cost plans may meet your requirements.
