Techark 11-08-2002, 08:21 PM If you want to charge in AUD why not go to your local bank? faculty 11-08-2002, 08:22 PM I use commonwealth. According to them, they dont have "online" merchant accounts available. AussieHosts 11-08-2002, 08:29 PM Try a different customer service rep. :-) http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=commonwealth+bank+online+payment+gateway http://www.mbase.com.au/epay/ Under Participating banks Commonwealth I have seen a few companies advising their processing is via Commonwealth. Regards Gary faculty 11-08-2002, 10:14 PM There aint any international companies offering credit card processing, while supporting the AUD currency then? :bawling: AussieHosts 11-08-2002, 10:42 PM Worldpay does. And I believe Hostcharge does, or will do. Regards Gary faculty 11-08-2002, 10:43 PM Worldpay costs a hell of a lot.. and hostcharge aint accepting signups.. Anyone know when they will be accepting signups? AussieHosts 11-08-2002, 11:09 PM If you have your own merchant facility with the Commonwealth, or any of the other majors, there's a number of card processors that can interact with that. Such as securepay.com.au Or are you specifically after a third party processor? See if this helps as well: http://www.webhostingtalk.com.au/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48&highlight=credit+card Cheers Gary coight 11-08-2002, 11:17 PM Don't knock Worldpay :D Your paying for the customer service, they answer the phone at like 3am :) LinuXpert 11-08-2002, 11:31 PM Because hostcharge doesn't accept new clients at this time I recommend Worldpay. faculty 11-08-2002, 11:36 PM Worldpay cost an arm and a leg but.. :bawling: coight 11-09-2002, 12:00 AM Originally posted by faculty Worldpay cost an arm and a leg but.. :bawling: Not really, if your processing thousands of dollars a month you can save hundreds (we made the change from 2checkout and have never looked back) faculty 11-09-2002, 12:06 AM Alright alright.. you talked me into it! Ima go signup. Techark 11-09-2002, 12:17 AM Commonwealth does have online processing. I have discussed it with their rep a couple of times. They cannot convert to USD is the only reason I do not use them for all my CC processing. If I remember correctly the software cost about $350.00 AUD and discount rate was 1.4% when using their gateway. faculty 11-09-2002, 01:35 AM Hrmm.. the person I talked to must have been on drugs then :stickout: Haze 11-09-2002, 01:37 AM Thats just the Australian banks for you. I glad to be using worldpay just because dealing with the banks here is such a b*tch! Lucifer 11-09-2002, 09:27 AM There is a shopping cart called ShopFactory. They claim it can hook right in to Commonwealth Bank, also National Australia Bank and several others. List here. www.shopfactory.com/index.html?target=dept_10.html&lang=en-us I'm not saying to get the program but the list will give you a few places to ask. |
