How do you figure...

Each visitor represents a possible search, each search represents income for you if the searcher finds something worth clicking on...

So why again would you not track visitors?

A visitor does not constitute a targeted user, nor should it be the sole indicating factor of our SE activity. We track searches as this is the most accurate way to measure our genuine conversion rate. We can get ten thousand visitors a day, however if they remain stagnant to one page. They are not effective, interested users (for the most part). So their is no reason to give a false depiction of our activity to potential advertisers.

Nonetheless we will cater to our advertisers needs and will be adding a third-party tracking system as soon as possible.
