I bought an Aletia Account about 1 year ago and I was satisfied of his speed, performance and support. Just three weeks ago a bought another account for my personal site (www.antoniocornacchia.com), where I use a lot of flash file and images, I'm an art director. But at this moment I am NOT satisfied of the performance on the new server. Since the sites are on the new Jaguar servers the speed is very slower than before: the ping before the moving was about 200ms, at this moment it is about 750ms! I hope this is a temporary problem, I left the perfect coastlandtech.com account because it is too much little for my new needs, I don't want leave Aletia because the jaguar is sick!

Beautiful site :)

You should open a ticket with them and post some traceroutes. Maybe they can clear up whatever's causing the problem. :)

If it's any help, your site loads well from here (Australia). Pings are normal (~250 no packet loss) and a trace is fine:

http://www.telstra.net/cgi-bin/trace?antoniocornacchia.com

Looks okay from elsewhere in Italy as well:

http://www.ncc.itgate.net/cgi-bin/nph-traceroute?antoniocornacchia.com

Try www.traceroute.org to see how it responds from various locations.

By the way...there's a spider on your front page. :)

Cheers

Zippy speedo from here in California.

You on Road Runner by chance? :D

Speed is fine here from California also. Here's what you looked like in PingPlotter, very nice response times also. You might want to check with your ISP as the possible culprit.

Your problem is within Sprintlink. Take them out, and the trace is fine. 70ms either side.

Looked like a spider...but your name should have given it away... :)
