Pls help me , like I said Im a new guy in this busines
MH-Andy 07-02-2009, 07:13 PM You should start with something called a "Reseller Account" and then get some software such as WHMCS so people can place orders on your website.
Reseller Hosting --> Virtual Private Servers --> Dedicated Servers --> Colocation
That's the order I did it in.
kuki87 07-02-2009, 07:18 PM thanks dude ;) now , I have another question :D where I can bougth it for a normal or low price :D
kuki87 07-02-2009, 07:48 PM did you mean on this hawkhost.com/Reseller/compare
AquariusStorage 07-02-2009, 07:54 PM HawkHost is a provider who offers reseller plans. Many people do. A few things to avoid for the well being of your own sanity: ;)
Master Reseller
Alpha Reseller
Unlimited Space
Unlimited Bandwidth
Going with any provider offering you any combination of those things above is going to surely cause you a nasty headache you want to avoid.
Reseller accounts are in a huge abundance. A few things to look for:
Do they provide end user support? (Usually pretty expensive and you can easily save money if you don't need this)
Do they provide you a billing system license for free such as ClientExec/WHMCS (Automates account creation/suspensions, as will as handles billing and handles support tickets)
Do they provide a fair share of resources for the price (100MB of space for 20$ on a reseller account is simply unacceptable and you will not be able to get your business going at such a high cost per 1$ for resources)
There are many other things to consider. Best way to get these questions answered is by contacting a providers sales department usually via email or live chat/phone if they offer it.

Start with a reseller account and move into a VPS when your venture gets enough money to fund for VPS.
jrianto 07-02-2009, 08:14 PM Try HostGator. That's where I started out mine. They're great and you get to get a free web hosting automation/billing software WHMCS.
kuki87 07-02-2009, 08:24 PM I forgot to said I want to host not just a web sites , but and game servers, audio streaming :D

hmm if you are still real new in web hosting, the best suggestion i can offer is starting with reseller account :)
Because ... to start as a real company of your own, you need to spend more budget and have more knowledge than being in reseller...
When you start from reseller, you can start from some bucks only and get help whenever you feel stuck in overcoming issue..
But in the end, it will be all your decision :D

I highly suggest Hostgator.
You will get everything you need...WHMCS, domain reseller, WHM/Cpanel (all customers will get cPanel with Fantastico...give them full domain / web / email /stats, very full featured hosting accounts).
The price is right, WHMCS will cost you almost 1/2 of what HG charges for their lowest reseller account.

Unfortunately he want to have game servers and audio streaming also :D
Go for a VPS dude!
kuki87 07-03-2009, 04:08 AM mayby is best option to take reseler fornow and when I earn some money I will buy VPS :D thank you
Yes, and in the mean time, if you don't know linux, build you a box or purchase a low cost itty bitty VPS and start playing around. You won't want to depend on a control panel entirely.
I'd highly recommend learning the basics of *nix internet services. (if you don't already, I'm just assuming since you are entry-level)
Good luck, welcome to the community.
kuki87 07-03-2009, 06:24 AM Im using Ubuntu 9.0.4 Desktop Edition for 5-6 monts now

Does not look like you get a free domain?
I have that package, no, you do not get a free domain. You do get a free domain reseller account, both through Enom (directly from HG) and one from ResellerClub (comes with the free WHMCS when you activate).
So, cheaper, but not free.
If you order one during signup, it will be $15 /yr. You can point any domain you have to any account you create, though.
kuki87 07-05-2009, 08:19 AM No you didnt understand me . I didnt ask for free domain I asked could I sell domaims to my clients like this http://www.register.com/titan/index.rcmx?
kuki87 07-05-2009, 10:16 AM web Hosting + register domains thats what I whant for my company
frankiee 07-05-2009, 10:35 AM Then you need to get an eNom reseller account, I believe they are giving them out free from WHMCS if you are going to be using that billing system.
frankiee 07-05-2009, 10:37 AM Actually my bad, HostGator seems to be already providing them for free with their resellers so if you're going with them, you're already set!
JesseB 07-05-2009, 09:03 PM If you are new to this and its your first time i would recommend you use a reseller account
matt4 07-05-2009, 09:16 PM I agree. A reseller account is the best way to start.
