I am in the need a cheap dedicated server. Should be a decent linux powered box.
Ideal specs, 650-1 ghz, 128-256 ram, no need for more than 30 gigs of hd space.
50 GB of bandwidth needed a month if that, this is mainly just used for DNS and a backup for HTTP / Email in case of emergency.
I saw the offer for the $39 a month one and that looked decent, but the $299 setup is not attractive.
Anyone offering similar deals with smaller setup fees?
It can be cheap bandwidth as it will just be used for DNS and only a temp. emergency backup in the rare chance the other servers go down.
I do NOT need any control panel or software - just base linux install.
