I bought one from ********** / Comodo a while ago. They are cheap and claim to be compatible with almost all browsers. I've been happy with mine.

Freessl.com has a new chainedssl cert for $15.00 :) works like a charm in 3.0+ browsers. Besides that it's the same root cert as the Comodo cert at $35.00 less :).

The FreeSSL chained SSL cert uses the Baltimore root which is compatible with Netscape 4.X+, IE 5.X+, and Opera 5.X+. Where do you find that it works with 3.0 browsers?

My bad :)... that was meant to be 5.0+ browsers (i didn't even realize it worked with 4.0+ Netscape browsers). That still hits 95%+ of the browser market at any rate.
