Hi,

We are using a rack, in it are now 7 servers and a BIG-IP loadbalancer (not all servers are behind the LB). We are currently using 3 non-manageable 3-Com switches (internal network, external network and internal behind loadbalancer)

As we want to replace them, and want to get rid of the single point of failures, we are now looking at affordable switches to use which support failover.

Does anybody have any recommedations regarding good, but not too expensive switches ?

Any switch with spanning tree should work for you. Foundry includes rapid spanning tree on it's switches which seem to be the fastest in updating.

Hope that helps!
