Apart from their bad posts on WHT, their FTP is fast and they have a pretty nice CPanel!

imHosted was the worst webhost I have ever experienced. From horrid to non-existent support to beyond unacceptable downtime, they were awful.

Evidently, I'm not alone in that assessment, from what I've read here and on some other forums.

They look like they have a good deal and their website looks professional, but behind the pretty facade is a horrible, horrible service.

Just my $0.02. ;-)

I have read many many posts about imhosted over the years I have been with them and up until last week I did not know why the negativity existed - I never had a problem - but now it seems that this is at an end - Support of late is non existent.

So I'd be interested to hear what other recommended hosts are at comparable prices and features - but it needs to be backed by support. I am looking for a reseller account and then possibly move to dedicated server in the not too distant future.

Thx

Greg

Don't do it! I have tried and tried to contact someone to help me, NO ONE HAS ANSWERED!!!!! I was supposed to have a domain name registered, that hasn't happened and it has been 9 days now! There is no on answering phone calls or emails. I have to say I feel I have been scammed.

Yeh well as I said - I have been a client with imhosted for about 2 years now - exact start time I am not sure about - anyway their support has usually been OK, usually within 24 hours, 48 at the most. But of late it has been terrible. I finally got 1 answer after about ten days to say contact support - Hello! - what do you think I was doing - and the reply to my ten day old support request to contact support I felt was rude and unnecessary.

If I got a reply saying that they were busy due to server problems or were at least working on it or at least an acknowledgement would have sufficed (for a period of time) - at least I would have known what was going on - but to get a reply from them to say I should contact support - I mean sheesh! - thats really helpful. And yes I contacted support and every other email address I could find on their site to try and get a response.

Hence why I posted here to start the hunt for an alternative.
