View Full Version : There was a hosting company...........

..... That was offering dedicated servers on a lease to own. Now, I have tried the Search briefly, so don't yell "USE THE SEARCH NEWBIE" LOL. I know I remember seeing them here not too long ago, but the details escape me at the moment.

I know somebody remembers who it was, so if you could post a URL for me, that would be great. :) Also, any feedback from anybody that has used this company would be appreciated.

Just double checking some stuff for an upcoming project. :smokin:

Host2own.com does.

Efreeservers did, but I don't know about their predecessor.

Atjue.com also has a lease to own plan of sorts. We have had a number of servers over there the past couple of months and have been very pleased.

USE THE SEARCH NEWBIE
;)

Seriously, WebAuthorities started something a while ago, that was interesting. The link isn't (I think) on their webpage, but you can go to http://webauthorities.com/wa-reseller.html. I don't know if it's still valid (should be) or how up to date their prices are. But isn't that always the case in this (computer) industry?

There's also http://www.netdirectservers.com that have partnered with VenturesOnline. Their webpage now (from netdirectservers) seems to have some troubles, but it was ok a few days ago. I guess it will be fixed.

I never ordered from any of them. Came very close, but didn't. I realized I didn't need that at the time. I'll have a look at the other companies mentioned higher.

A company called smartlease wil ldo this for you. You give them the hardware to buy, they buy it, you lease it from them with a $1 buy out option. They will do it with just about anything. This way you aren't tied to any one provider if you're looking to lease.

Many dedicated hosts will come up with a custom package for you to lease to own. It was very popular for a while and has not been so popular recently.
