Can you create a good looking portal design for a new search engine for a regional country.

I'm looking for something clean and simple eg: retro Yahoo 1998 when search was still important to them :)

In fact, the new myway.com is clean and simple idea and so my portal would need to be just as good as that!

I only need a designer as site will be using Links SQL for managing it and I already have a developer to help with integration.
