I love putty and all but the biggest setback I see for it is that there is no way to cut and paste.. atleast not that I can figure out.. does anyone know of any good alternatives.. I mean I love putty especally beause it is just a nice little 50k .exe file with no install or anything needed but I need a way to cut and paste..

You can cut and paste in putty. IF you want to copy text from an external document, copy as normal then in putty put the cursor where you want the text and right click the mouse, it will insert the text. Also to cut and past within putty use your mouse to highlight the text and then move the cursor where you want the text and right click the mouse.

I hope that makes sense..

I actually love the way putty deals with copy/paste and wish other progs used a similar method.

Yeah, same... although it sometimes gets annoying when the clipboard is accidentally overwritten by clicking the mouse (I have a laptop, so it's easy to accidentally click whilst typing).

This might help you out. Multiple clip board entries for those of us who dont use MS Offce and still want multiple clipboard functionalities.

(Yes, some more blatant arsware pimping)
