We have been using WHMCS's built-in affiliate software and are not really satisfied with it. What else are you using?

I love idevaffiliate (http://www.idevdirect.com/). I've tried quite a few, and that seems to be my favorite. :)

The "JAM" software is decent, too:

I am using it for a new website I'm building, and it works well. I don't like how they constantly try and sell you their other products, though.

did you have trouble integrating it with whmcs? are you using whmcs 4 yet?

i've got a liscense but can't find good integration directions or at least not anything recent. would much prefer using idev over the lame-ish whmcs affiliate setup.

I haven't gone to 4.0 yet, but it was super easy to plug into the most recent 3.x version. http://www.idevdirect.com/cart_integrations.php used to be the instructions, but it's "tied" into idev now, so I believe you have to install idevaffiliate prior to getting integration instructions. Hopefully someone can chime in that's tried it with whmcs 4.

What was wrong with the WHMCS one? We just started using it the other day, and we find some of our clients loving it.

Thank you for the info. I had seen the instructions in the past, too, but was unable to find them recently. That's probably why. I'll do a test install and see what pops up and do some testing, I guess.

It's pretty simple though. You go to like general config in whmcs, then other, and just pop a little code in and you're done. I'd be more than happy to make you an affiliate client account by the way, if you for some reason would rather play around as a client in a live one as opposed to the demo at idev. Probably not too useful to you, but figured I'd offer what I can to help. :)

Thank you. That's very kind! I appreciate the offer, but I really should just install it myself. I bought it some time ago and have never got up and running with it.

Post affiliate pro is nice but their customer support sucks, with long response time and template e-mails. When you ask something on online chat, they tell you go and read instructions. lol, but rest of it fine
