Why not just put a new thread directly after mine, which would gain as much attention?

As it is a five day rule applies on this forum and I had this for sale waiting until the five days were up to sell this program.

I see this going on a lot around the forum, people advertising a good deal with webhosting and then several people post in the same thread advertising their own services.
