Hello

What method is used to create the gradient effect on the background of this website: foehn.co.uk

A very basic tutorial or explanation would be enough to get me started.

Thanks,
Jaynesh

looks like to me they have used multiple colours as a background then either used a mask or some other type of blend / opacity to merge them together.

whoever the designer is they need shooting cause they cant write action script for ****. 1. it doesnt have % loading bar 2. it crashes my web browser.

Hi,

foehn.co.uk

they have used radial gradiants(4 of them) on multiple layers, and placed them at different positions...then above all these radial gradiants they have placed a liner black and transperent gradiant...hope i have solve your query.

The background of 'foehn.co.uk' appears to be brushes, filters, lighting and perhaps gradients. There are numerous layers combined together and arranged in such a way to make this background so vibrant. To learn more about gradients take a look at this tutorial I found http://www.freephotoshop.com/html/free_gradients.html I thought it explained the process rather well. If you need further assistance let me know I will be more then happy to help you.

You can find a lot of gradients on deviantart.com. Many people post their stuff there, so you might be able to find their gradient.
