Hello,
We are moving into Xen / windows VDS servers and hosting. I would just like to know where can i obtain windows licenses from?
I know Microsoft have partnership rules etc. Just wondering are there any resellers out there or is there a distributor where i could get them from.
Thanks..

You can get Microsoft licensing through your upstream provider such as your datacenter. Besides being part of the Microsoft SPLA program directly I doubt you can lease Microsoft licensing from resellers.

There are only a few SPLA licensing providers. SPLA is not something microsoft gives out lightly. Dell just got approved a few months ago and they only do it for large customers.
Here is the page that lists the resellers. I would recommend not contacting Dell unless you are very large. I use Insight and their pricing is very good.

Your server provider, Data center or Microsoft resellers can provide you licenses for Windows operating systems (Any Microsoft product).

Easiest method is becoming an SPLA member and reporting your usage every month.
Couple of months ago we became a Microsoft SPLA member and it has opened up a whole new world of opportunities. Licensing is super easy and we can do basically any MS product available.
If you are serious about Windows, go with an SPLA contract.

This is an inaccurate statement. They cannot provide SPLA licensing as that is only given out to a select few. I am a microsoft reseller and I can not issue SPLA licenses.
