View Full Version : Free Money...no really! :-)
AH-Tina 11-05-2002, 01:59 AM So, I paid $10 to have access to a national (US) database that tells you if you have unclaimed money somewhere (forgotten bank account, etc.). Imagine my disappointment when I found out that I know exactly where all of my money is...and no hidden treasure was to be found in the "unclaimed" database info. :bawling:
Anyway, if you want to see if you have have any forgotten funds laying around somewhere:

Hey, they never said I couldn't share the login info with anyone! Post back and let us know if you find anything! :D

localhost 11-05-2002, 02:15 AM No need for the username and password (just hit cancel when prompted). How's it feel to have paid $10 bucks for nothing? ;) BTW, no unclaimed money for me. :(
AH-Tina 11-05-2002, 02:17 AM Yeah, that's why I felt obliged to share. I didn't realize the crappy authentication process until after I paid. :stickout:

susannad 11-05-2002, 02:54 AM don't worry mate, I actually looked at that before (just in case) and once again of course it was for USA
and I wonder when someone will think of starting one where I am .. may be a little difficult as it costs nothing to do a search of australian records
You can just go to your State Controller's website like I did (which I found after I illegally accessed that site :()
https://scoweb.sco.ca.gov/scoucp/inquiry/index.html?GXHC_GX_jst=d6d45670662d6164
The above is for California but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find your state's in Google :)
:D

davidb 11-05-2002, 06:21 PM it listed both my parents names, as unknown from the same source, hhmm, I would tell em, but thats like a whole phone call away.
MGCJerry 11-05-2002, 08:35 PM Hey! My dad is in there... They only owe $100.
I looked at one awhile back and got the same result as this one... maybe I should tell him...
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
If you are not happy with the site for any reason once you signup, email us at support@findcash.com and we will give you a full refund.
AH-Tina 11-05-2002, 08:57 PM "Dear FindCash,
I didn't Find any Cash...please refund my money."
rockergrrl 11-06-2002, 03:15 PM I found a couple well known people's names in the database. One that shares my maiden name. Same first name, middle and last name of a Chicago singer.
Now I have her address to harass her at... ;) j/k
I know her anyways.
But for me, nothing :( If anything, I owe people money... not the other way around, unfortunately :( :(
