So, I paid $10 to have access to a national (US) database that tells you if you have unclaimed money somewhere (forgotten bank account, etc.). Imagine my disappointment when I found out that I know exactly where all of my money is...and no hidden treasure was to be found in the "unclaimed" database info. :bawling:

don't worry mate, I actually looked at that before (just in case) and once again of course it was for USA

and I wonder when someone will think of starting one where I am .. may be a little difficult as it costs nothing to do a search of australian records

You can just go to your State Controller's website like I did (which I found after I illegally accessed that site :()

it listed both my parents names, as unknown from the same source, hhmm, I would tell em, but thats like a whole phone call away.
