View Full Version : Allreseller Won't reply to my emails and keep taking money from my account
kin0013 05-30-2009, 10:48 AM Hey,
this is partially my fault however heres my story...
Signed up for a reseller account with allreseller as i planned to sell some US web hosting just as an addon to what i was already selling however due to "issues" That im not going to explain i decided to stop selling US hosting services and asked them to cancel my account. I filled out the cancellation request and they emailed me saying it would be processed.
Heres the email i received.

They have returned none of my emails since then and i normally don't complain however i think its very ignorant and rude just to ignore me, if they feel they are entitled to the money then they should of stated to me why. I picked them as a host because i thought they were professional however i see they are not.
Has anyone else experienced issues with them?
Chris
HostLeet 05-30-2009, 10:50 AM How did you pay for your account? If you used PayPal, make sure you cancel any active subscriptions with AllReseller if you have any. This could be why you keep being charged.
kin0013 05-30-2009, 10:52 AM Yeh i paid with paypal, hence why i said it was partially my fault however i thought they would have cancelled it when i cancelled my account however i was wrong.
Moved > Reseller Hosting Forum.

Try reading their ToS to see if you're allowed to get a refund from uncancelled PayPal subscriptions. Some hosts just add it as account credit but they might refund you back the money if you try asking them. But, since you already say they're aren't replying to your emails maybe you should just try and do a PayPal dispute.
Good luck, though. :)
IGXHost 05-30-2009, 11:57 AM I think it's only fair that the host refunds any uncanceled paypal subscriptions.

Well, the OP cancelled the account, so giving him credit will do no good. So, a refund would be the right thing to do here.
hostxchng 05-30-2009, 07:28 PM kin0013, the incompetence of the umbrella company webuyhosts is unforgivable. each of their incarnations is as rotten as the last. yes, this very thing is happening to me. i canceled my account, and paypal subscription, received confirmation of such, yet i am still being invoiced month after month. fortunately they have no access to any of my finances. however, i still do not appreciate being billed for services i do not use and demand it stop immediately. i caution everyone to steer clear of anything remotely related to webuyhosts.

Yeh, i cancelled my subscription and i have made a dispute (not sure how useful it will be) however at least they will need to reply to that and if they still take my money then we will know if they are scum or just plain useless.

However i don't think they are "fair" :(
Does allreseller have a rep on this forum?
Chris
NexDog 06-04-2009, 05:35 AM One of the beautiful things about PayPal is that the client remains in full control of their billing. So if you take anything away from this experience you know that if you cancel you should always cancel your subscription yourself. :)
I don't believe allreseller have a rep here but I'm not as active as I once was so I might have missed it.
pretty sure their rep's name here is allresellerchad.
looks like he hasn't been around since for a bit and judging from some of his past posts, isn't very easy to work with..so..good luck.
empresasdehosting 06-04-2009, 04:57 PM allreseller is the worst hosting company you will find....after cancel the account since a month ago i still receive a new invoice reminder.....
kin0013 06-07-2009, 10:45 PM Looks like allreseller were able to reply my paypal dispute however won't reply to my emails and good old paypal are as useless as tits on a bull.. they say it "determined that
this is not an instance of unauthorised account activity" Good to see that they probably didn't even look at the issue.
People like this really should get banned from WHT... Do we really want these scamming P.O.S on the forum? I would hope that i could choose a host on this forum and no that they aren't gunna scam me
Chris
elisablaze 06-24-2009, 12:32 AM I am having the same problems since they merged with Hostdogs.
I paid hostdogs for a year in advance and now allreseller wants more money and want respond to emails. I have sent at least 8 to various email addresses. And 1 even comes back as a bad email addy.
This was a bad decision for HOstdogs.
I guess I am screwed.
Guess I am on the search again.
kin0013 07-22-2009, 02:01 AM Looks like they are back on WHT - http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=6297489#post6297489
Is there anything we can do to stop scammers like this from posting on WHT?
Thanks,
Chris
