I Have seen them advertising locally here, never tried their service. their package seem to be geared towards corporates users with SMS gateway needs.

But they have been in business from long time now

I have 4 sites hosted on their Windows hosting package and 3 domains on their dedicated email system.

I am in the process of moving to another host after repeated instances of them deleting my sites and disabling my log in accounts for ftp.
On speaking to their technical support they advised me that they had done so because I do not use their DNS service. I do not use their DNS service because I have failover and round robin DNS from another provider.
On their site they claim to be in the UK, but they're in India and the servers are in the US.
Uptime is claimed to be proven 100%, but my failover monitoring triggered almost daily, their support stated that this was due to the failover monitoring services ISP, however the failover monitor checked 2 other servers for the same domain without issue.
Their email services also have problems. They sometimes disable the cPanel box trapper to reduce load. SPF records don't appear to do much to help reduce spam as their server does not seem to check for SPF records properly.

To sum it up, I wouldn't recommend them for any site that generates money or needs to be available constantly.
If you wish to use their services to get some familiarity with Plesk and cPanel with a small scale beginners site then perhaps its worth a risk. The dedicated email hosting is not as reliable or functional as others.
The big plus for their services is that they are incredibly cheap.

They spammed a blog site of mine some time ago, however their post was in topic.

PS. Getting money back from them is like getting blood out of a stone.

Stay away from these guys nothing but a complete pain in the ass...

I signed up for a reseller account 3 days ago & it's been nothing but a nightmare, how hard could it be...?

The account had to be setup 3 times before I the reseller could use it, I was given the custom name server IP's 3 times before they were correct, I had techsupport cut me off on a live tech chat session because I asked him what he did to resolve a problem I had...

We signed up for the reseller account & the day after we placed a customer onto our reseller account, FTP has never worked correctly, customer couldn't access their control panel, wrong permissions set on folders, customer ftp's files to the httpdocs folder & they end up in the httpsdocs folder. Basic things like asp files not being recognised, pull up the default (lead page) of the site & a browser login box pulls up & it goes on & on & on.

Anyone thinking about 2Gbhosting be warned they are a nightmare & you'll regret the day you signed up.

Currently waiting for them to acknowledge the full refund back to my PayPal account & I'm having to explain to my customers why were now changing AGAIN...was with Experthost (techsupport good with them control panel etc etc not user friendly & a pain in the butt)

You can also check their support by sending the email during the late night hour or call the toll-free line over the weekend. If you get a fast, satisfactory answers, there is good sign to make deal.

I'm not representing 2GB Hosting. I'm a representing a different company. But I've used services of 2GB Hosting. I know, they are one of the best web host in India. I never felt problem, as stated above. Their overall support was satisfactory. I liked 1 thing most. They have lot of custom packages for hosting, SEO and SMS gateway. And their price is really reasonable.
2 websites, mycuredcomputer.com and srijanju.com (FEST website of Jadavpur University) was my clients and they are hosted by 2GB Hosting.

Wish I never signed up with these lame creatures. Cannot even provide proper support and cannot speak English, Choose another hosting company if you're looking for REAL 24 7 Support as at 2GB Hosting support does not exist! Stupid one word answers, seems like a robot is sending them. KEEP AWAY!

AND ROFL at the post above.... Purely caught... Huh 2 gb?

And I must add, Worst hosting experience I've ever had! Soon to leave.

Dude, I have a current reseller account with them and the service is rubbish, uptime is okay, not bad, server load is always extremely high though and support is terrible. I can't get my money back as I'm passed the pathetic 7 day money back guarantee, I asked for custom nameserver for my domain and they could not explain clearly how to do this. I had to contact all sorts of companys (before giving up). I wouldn't recommend them at all in my experince, but this is my opinion.

i think that i shouldn't signup with them again , and you can register with : http://www.hostdime.com , Great service , uptime , experienced support and good price (you can get discount by talking with live support before registration ) .

i didin't register with them as VPS due to the limited traffic and highprice .

but the Reseller plans are Great .

Thanks for your reply, the only thing good about the reseller plans are they're very cheap, it does not necessarily mean you will receive the great quality service that they advertise. Also they advertise like 2000gb bandwidth on one of the reseller plans, but look carefully, you only have 200! I had to contact them to rectify this, which they did, but how many more people are they doing this too? And thanks I'll check your link out.

If you really don't need all that bandwidth, which most people don't you can find a more solid choice of options if you put your budget up a little more. Most companies who care will work with you and offer you discounts once you contact them. By no means is this an indication to knock down any host, but you have to weigh your options.

Looks like I was wrong on my view of this company -- All my issues were resolved the day after posting this, they called me at home and my issues were resolved within minutes and everything is fine now. I'd recommend them. I had to post this because credit needs to be given where due.

Yeah, well, at first I was on 20gb Reseller, and bandwidth wasn't as advetised then but this must have been as mistake as I decided I wanted Custom Nameservers as you'd know this looks more professional upon a hosting company, so upgraded to the 40gb reseller and there have been no isssues as of yet. If you're that curious just take out a shared hosting account for a month, it's only 99 cents! Well, ever since I let them know I was un happy, I have been treated like I am their only customer!

I recently hosted website with 2gbhosting.com.They allured me with great claims but within month they showed their true colors as i was charged excess payment for the shared hosting account and my website was suspended illegally or unethically without informing us and not allowed to use the claimed diskspace or bandwidth and no reason given and only after submitting the ticket they told me that i need to upgrade to VPS with higher payments.All our hardwork was lost because of them and no refunds from them nor any apology.Worst Employees and business practices.

Its the worst service that i have come across and seems to me the 2gb hosting indulges in unfair trade practices amounting to deficieny of services. Nobody should host any website on 2gb hosting or their parent company called HRNTIPL. As they failed to deliver what the claim/promise.

But the Diskspace and the Traffic offered in 2gbhostng.com are real ?

No, they make false claims as they wont allow you to use that diskspace or bandwidth

Well, I recommend you to signup with them and try their service for 7 days. And if you are not interested then ask for moneyback

2gb hosting is not even worth signing because they wont refund your money. Fraud company, they charged us twice and did not refund and behaved/claimed as if they did not received money

As you may already know, I have a reseller account with them, I had a few problems at first, hence my username and the posts I made, I would like to make a request to the moderators to remove these posts. If you signed up for the 99 cents/mo plan and you are using an extremely unreasonable amount of bandwidth/diskspace, than you're asking for trouble arn't you really. Since this company called me up and paid to give me support, I will always support them. Don't expect everything for 99 cents a month. It just aint gonna happen! Bandwidth/Diskspace is as stated also. So you're wrong, I see this same review everywhere posted, post something unique, it gets boring to read the same thing over and over again...

I signed up for web hosting at this company because it was cheap ($12/year) and a better alternative than a free host, or so I thought. A big mistake. My website is now so slow at loading, I have to find a new host. Cheap IS cheap.

I had a terrible experience with 2gb hosting. I had two forum sites, because of their lethargy and they often reduce the bandwidth without any notification so that as even administrator could not log in.

I closed my websites because of this. their tech support each one will ask different things to do, and repeat the same question we have asked.

Want to have peace of mind go for better host.

Before completion of ONE YEAR for both domains (even I got google adsense)I just left out.

Site remains down most of the times and services get disturbed anytime without anybody's consent (e.g. - access denied message on MySQL Database Creation / Deletion).

Support staff uses bad language in writing and expect me to write apologies - which can't be done obviously.

My experience - Never go for 2GBHosting. Cheap IS Cheap.

@GwebHosting - 7 days money back is not the period to be relied upon. Reason being if 6th and 7th days are Saturday and Sunday and you want your money back, you should forget that.

@steven_elvisda - Cross your fingers for the services. If you get good, its your good luck.

Personally, I've went for Host Dime India for my second domain hosting on Linux. Although it sounds costlier, but the services are at par and Technical Executives are really helpful. Again, that's my view.

We are in 5 years in hosting business, currently we have 3 ded servers. We also use 2GB hosting in few years back. We face some issues in the support and services. We took windows reseller account with them, frequently face "services unavailable" issues, every time we need to create ticket for this. Some other query's raise through ticket, they not resolve soon. In the time of chat there response is very bad. We close the hosting with them finally.

I have bought a hosting and domain package. My website is not working for a last four days. Tried to call customer back and they says they will check and call back but never calling back for first two days. Today I tried to call UK, US, India but no one is answering the phone and 24/7 chat is also not responding. Worse website domain and hosting provider, I have never seen. Please never ever buy from this supplier

I've raised ticket to billing department to reactivate my account under CRITICAL and URGENT condition but nobody reply to it after 24hrs! :mad:
