Do we need to have company check account to use either Revecom's Merchant IBA service or Merchant IMA service?

I was told formerly that Revecom requires you to send them a company check for verification. I don't have one yet and don't intend to apply at this point of time. I think 2checkout do not require this?

I will be having recurring billing and read that 2checkout system is not so flexible also read that they are facing some problems recently, is this true?

Thanks a lot

not for the IBA account. A personal bank account is fine. The IMA account is a different bucket o fish though. As it's a full merchant facility you'll need to prove more about yourself.

thanks.

So to confirm, I do not need a company check account to apply for the IBA service, rite?

Is Revecom's IBA account similar to 2checkout account?

Which one do you guys recommend?

not when we applied anyway (2+ years ago). From what I've read on this forum that doesn't seem to have changed.

Never used 2checkout, but it sounds as if paysystems has a more advanced interface from the merchant's point of view. On a personal note, even with this weeks hiccup I still tend to trust paysystems more as a solid institution as far as a billing provider goes.

ok. I didn't use Revecom cos they told me in the past that you need a checking account to apply. Maybe they meant the IMA.

You using the IBA too?

thanks.

Has anyone tried both revecom and 2checkout? Which one do you recommend?

I heard revecom is easier to edit recurring billing. Dunno if i remember correctly?

Yes, we have an IMA account too - the credit checking for that is more involved though as it's a full merchant account rather than a 'third party' system.
