EVERY time that I needed support, these guys responded in less than 30 minutes with a SOLUTION. I am impressed!

They are indeed good. They are the best registar I have used so far and their support is quite impressive. The domain manager is very easy to use as well.

I also agree. Can't say enough good things about 000domains (http://000domains.com) service and support.

"There're great!!!"

Over the last three years I've used 000Domains exclusively but ran across a better deal with the same level of customer service. So far I transferred six accounts without a single issue and response time has been phenomenal. If anyone wants to check them out it's http://cclhosting.com

Yeah. I bought a domain with 000domains a while ago. All was good. Yeah.

I transferred all my important domains there. Their service is excellent, and well worth the higher price of $13.50 per domain. (which isn't really that high, if you think about how much you have to lose with a registrar that sucks)

Count me in. I have used 000domains.com for the last 2 years and just love their system, support and easy control panel to to manage domains. In my opinion they are just excellent without any doubt and real value for money. Even if they were to increase to $15 I will still continue to use them. So far I have more than 40 domains registered with them(clients and my own domains 7)

chalk up another happy 000domains user...

I reged my first domain with network solutions back when they were the only player but transfered to 000domains (really tucows if you want to get technical) and haven't looked anywhere else.

there may be cheaper places but I'm willing to play a bit more when it means I get good service.

Can you change the cname, mx, and a records in the 000domains control panel? If so, is it free or an additional fee?

Thanks

Remn, the $13.50 (I think it is) gets you all those changes included.
They do not do redirection at all. But I don't need that, I need control and reliablity.

I agree with ATST. I also don't use their features provided(free web forwarding & email forwarding) and you have to use their nameservers unless you have a personal site that uses free web hosting account such as geocities, xoom, etc and want to continue to use it with your domain name and redirect it.

In usual cases, we have our own nameservers to point to the server(s) of our choice and configure whatever needed using most of the time cp to manage it or command line.

Some registrars advertise and uses these features to attract prospects but most season users don't actually have a need for it and is more interested in reliability, stability, speed, support, etc. that we look for and also a difference of a few dollars is no big deal.

Always nice to see a good review. I was just looking for something like this. Thanks for sharing.

Another good review aims for "quality", when doing business, I think quality of service always prior to competitive price.

They do not do redirection at all. But I don't need that, I need control and reliablity. ?? Do you mean web-forwarding and email forwarding? They do that.

...and you have to use their nameservers unless you have a personal site that uses free web hosting account ??? You can specify other nameservers.

I have 6 domains with them and am amazed at their speedy customer service - always replying promptly to emails. I paid for my last domain by money order and they registered my domain within hours of receiving it. (mailed on Friday afternoon from Toronto to Arkansas and they registered it Tuesday afternoon).

??? You can specify other nameservers.

Yes, you can specify any nameservers but using your own nameservers will NOT give you access to 000domains web forwarding & email forwarding services if you don't use their nameservers and using your own nameservers.... any web forwarding & email forwarding WILL have to be done on your OWN server.

Please note below a clarification from 000domains.com

Hello,

To be able to utilize the forwarding feature, you will need to use our
name servers (ns1.000domains.com and ns2.000domains.com).

Should you have further questions, please let me know.
