We are outside of US and looking for a direct merchant account in order to accept credit cards online, or a third party merchant account and payment processor which is reliable enough. We need a high risk credit card processor for software download.

Any help and suggestion is appreciated

You might look into chronopay or maybe psbill might be an option.

It's definitely best to avoid third party merchant account processing whenever possible -- if you meet the requirements to get a direct merchant account, that's the way to go for reliability. What kind of software are you selling?

Well if u r talking for HIGH RISK merchant account, then there are just a few which are trustworthy and would pay you fast enough. Otherwise most will hold your money untill u forget ur money or pursue with all proofs till u run out of proofs and still they demand more.

It would be great if you can expand your thoughts about ChronoPay instead of just saying "stay away".

their owners support&bill illegal MP3 websites, 'fantasy' rape websites using all the same banks and the processor-bank relationship can be damaged any moment because of that.
Also they started some online pharmacy affiliate program and holded our pharmacy funds of processing with no actual reason for 6 months to get some of our affiliates to their system because we had problems with payouts to our affiliates because of their activities.

So sum up is that yes, they can do processing, but 90% that you will have problems with payouts before you reach 6month holdback period.

Well there are companies , but whom to trust and do biz
Because its getting a daily story now a days to know you will be getting ripped by your processor unless you have some serious biz or rapo with them.

I think there should be a common platform where people who were ripped by processors and were not taken into consideration should get a chance to speakup against them , so that atleast that company wont be able to cheat others in the advantage of the benefit of doubt they getting over here.

Welcome to the forum

There are a few solid options for high-risk software downloads. Your rates will depend on a few specifics .. things like -
If you have any past processing history
What country you are incorporated in
Past chargeback history, etc

I suggest you be very wary of anyone asking for upfront fees! (unless they are assisting you in forming a corp)

I hope this helps .. good luck and feel free to let us know if you have more questions

RXCash,

If you are asking me, the answer is yes and no .. you see, options for placements depend specifically on each pharma merchants' individual specifications. There is no single option that suits all types.

for example:
some pharma merchants sell only herbals
some pharma merchants sell schedule 4
some pharma merchants can provide license
etc etc

Therefor, providers need to know specifics of the merchant before knowing if they can accommodate their specific placement type

Vic, We know that if you have solution which is ok with 'some pharma merchants sell schedule 4' - it means it suits for all other solutions lol ;)

Okay
So what about the merchants who can provide License and are well organised in terms of shipping.

I would say they have an easier road than those that cannot show them! lol

BTW there are different types of licensing as well (ex: license for distribution in the US, license for general distribution etc).

As I said, each merchant must be evaluated on their own individual merits ..... there is no such thing as a 'one size fits all' solution for pharma anymore. And for those that do offer solutions for all sizes/types, they charge more than a well orchestrated & documented merchant should pay (in my humble opinion).

RXChat,

if you don't see controlls you have many options. Are you start-up? If you have a processing history, I think you can get own MID for a small fee.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

There is a bank with daily payouts in Asia, no reserve, and not cheap though.

Asian banks are very willing to take on risk and give very good terms as most banks in Asia does not have a clue in what they are doing when it comes to card processing for high-risk.

They only look at the earning potential and switch everything on but when s**t hits the fan they close down in panic and in many cases they just keep the merchants money.

Seen this quite a few times in Asia.

I think , since its High Risk , No banks / Company wil provide you with 100% safety in terms of money.
There will be ALL companies which will have issues with their merchants some or the other how.

So , whats the solution to these stuff ??
Either Close this High Risk Biz.

Or Secret Sharing of the people who are already doing this and for a while.

Thx
