Hi,
When entering my domain into who-hosts.com, it shows my host provider that I am a reseller for. Is there any way to change this so it shows that it is hosted by me, not them.
Well I do not believe there is a way to do so unless you own the server or the IP.

So would getting a dedicated ip help?
No getting a dedicated IP will not help much as the block of the IP is still owned by your hosting provider, not to mention the server's hostname, etc.

I guess whois domain shows your host as domain registration provider?
If that's the case, simply transfer your domain to a different domain provider like godaddy.

You need to get "Private Nameservers" set them at your domain registrar, also most host's such as mine should give you a chance to get a "Dedicated IP"

Find private label reseller host who offer anonymous host name & private name servers.

I am pretty sure self promotion is against these forum rules.
Private Name servers / Dedicated IP addresses are a step in the right direction to "white-label hosting"
Who-hosts.com simply returns the DNS server enteries for the domain querried.
If you create your own private name servers, you can have customized.
Most reseller accounts let you do this, which basically just points your custom named name servers to theirs, transparently.
Other than that , you would have to create and register new name servers, that will take DNS knowledge. Some registrars allow you to create vanity name servers also, though...so that may be another non-technically laden way around it.

A dedicated IP and Custom namerservers will solve it :)

Well my host just added a dedicated IP to my account. I did the who-hosts test again, and now its showing a different site...yarzar2u.com, but the site has files on the domain, should I be worried about this host?
