Yes, there is a 60 day wait from the day you registered the domain name before you can transfer it away from whom you purchased the domain from.

Correct Hostleet, You are unable to transfer within this time. You will need to wait out the 60 days imposed limit before you can transfer.

Unfortunately this is the way this goes.

Additionally, GoDaddy have a stupid policy (stupid since it breaks ICANN policy and no-one says anything) that if you have a domain with them, if you modify the registrant contact information (even just correct a typo), it then 'locks down' the domain for a further 60 days - so if you are with GoDaddy, and wish to transfer the domain elsewhere, don't modify the contact information. Just an FYI :)

Snanup, you're trying to transfer your domain to GoDaddy. You don't need to do that if you are just hosting with them.

You need to point your address to GoDaddy's name servers, you don't actually need to transfer the domain to them. Once you've done that, it will show up in the space you have purchased.

Yes and mostly this approach is better in hosting. Keep domain & hosting with different service providers.

There will be a button in your uk-cheapest.co.uk domain control panel saying "nameservers" or "DNS". Click this, and set the nameservers of your domain to the settings that GoDaddy given you.
