I normally moderate on religious debate boards, putting up with fundamentalist Christians versus aggressive atheists. Lots of flames, lots of abuse, multiple nics and plenty of aggro if you take it seriously. The trick is not to.

Methinks I've been taking WHT a little too seriously sometimes. And I'm a bossy person by nature. Perhaps I sometimes forget that I don't mod WHT ;)

It's me feel too much like a grump around here. So this is an official warning that I am now chilling out. No more overt cynicism and grumpiness! :D

And I think Chicken is doing an excellent and stirling job, in sometimes quite challenging conditions.

I have an idea of where you can be grumpy :) Go to one of those forums that belong to hosts that get a bad rep here. You can be as grumpy as you like!

That is a true test. Overall, while some only tend to see the bad threads, the forum is a good group. I've seen far worse. There are problems, there are idiots, but in general nothing out of control. Although I often spend hours per day before I can actually read a thread for enjoyment, once all the garbage is cleaned up, things are OK. :D
