This server is available immediately. I'm using this server for the last 6 months for my own development and testing purpose. Works great! but I do not need it anymore. So instead of returning it to the data center folks, I would like it to transfer to someone who might want to save some $$ :D

Specs:

Pentium II Xeon/Celeron 400MHz
512 MB RAM
20GB HD
Unmetered bandwidth (Yipes (http://www.yipes.com))
3 IPs (more available on justification)
phpsysinfo (http://66.227.104.122/phpsysinfo/)
Speed Test (http://66.227.104.122/speedtest/)
IP to trace: 66.227.104.122

Current Software Installed (free):

FreeBSD 4.5 (with security patches and custom compiled kernel)
Apache 1.3.26
PHP (http://66.227.104.122/phpinfo/) 4.2.3 (with Zend Optimizer)
MRTG (TCP, UDP, ICMP, TCP SYN, Total traffic and Apache, MySQL, CPU/MEM usage graphs)
MySQL 3.23.49-log
phpMyAdmin
Qmail with patches (including tarpit, qregex)
Qmail Admin (http://66.227.104.122/cgi-bin/qmailadmin/) + vpopmail (for creating and managing pop accounts, forwards, aliases, autoresponder, ezmlm mailing lists)
BIND + DNS Manager
Firewall: custom ipfw rules
Sqwebmail (Custom coded and works with proper domain name e.g. webmail.yourdomain.com, does not requires full email address as login)
ncFTPd (shareware)
That's everything you need to manage and run your own box :-)
Need anything else installed? I may be able to do that for you free :D
You can also request for a fresh install of Linux RedHat or FreeBSD later.

Setup: $149 (actual upgrades $206 for RAM and HD, save $57) + save the usual setup charges as well
Monthly: $49
UPDATE: sold now

You will also get one week free, may be two. :)

Contact via PM. First come first serve basis. First person to confirm will get it.

That's an interesting question. So far FreeBSD is undecided so it prints it as "Pentium II/Pentium II Xeon/Celeron" on bootup :)

My guess would be Xeon, since I don't think Intel makes 400Mhz Celeron.

Even so, you should probably find that out for your potential clients.

Intel use to make Celeron 400's. It was based on Slot 1 I believe.

They had slot 1's too. This was around the time frame when they switched back to socket based chips.

control, please read the forum rules - you are not allowed to post request for other users to check their messages.

On a side note, regarding whether this is a celeron or xeon - I apologize for making any mistake. It has been a while since intel made a 400Mhz processor. :)
