Our backup nameservers are on a DS1 in a different facility. Our servers are directly connected to UUNET by 10 and 100 Meg Ethernet, we limit bursting, but we do allow beyond 1.5 mbit, but we have to keep it managed to maintain a profitable service, as we grow this unmanaged server service we will be able to allow higher bursting... the light users will balance out with the heavy users. If you have specific rate requirments you can let us know, are are able to manage this down to the ip level, QoS.

Can you please confirm that you acquired 5,000 customers in 1.5 months (mostly from local clients)? I heard that you only accept Paypal.

Correct me if I'm wrong about the 5,000 customers. I'm thinking about getting this server deal, but I'm a bit hesitant now because of the previous comments made about you.

We have done hosting for many clients, and yes, we administrate 5,000 customers, not in 1.5 months. That's a rumour. We have been doing this business for 2 years now. We are now marketing online. I am not going to start this conversation again.

Our merchant server is pending. We always use to do transactions via cheque on a yearly contract basis. We are changing our business strategy. We accept via Paypal and 2checkout at this time only.

We haven't changed anything on the offer, mostly have added things to this offer. We include 1 IP with the purchase, give you 7 more IP addresses free of charge, provided justification of use. This equals 8 free IP addresses. After that, you are to pay $20 one-time setup + $1 per month, per IP.

$20 and $1/month for each IP? wow..thats kind of high..some offer free ips. Or cheaper in bulk.

We offer 8 free.
Then start charging.

I realize that, but some people will grow quickly out of 8 ips.

At this time we are not offering any control panels. We only offer Redhat 7.2 or Slackware 8.1. We are looking into Ensim or even Cpanel/whm.

We are estimating about 5-6 days for new shipment to arrive, to be built and placed on location. Additional bandwidth is $2.50 per gigabyte. Remember this is high quality, UUNET bandwidth :)

Guess what,
Yesterday I payed, and I was told my server was goin to be installed right away when they were back in the office, @ 9pm they sent me a mail they were sold out. This while they only had 5. Shouldn't be to hard to not oversell with 5 instock imo.

After an horrible experience with Nocster, I'm really starting to doubt if this kind of lo-cost dedicated server hosting is any good.

Man, I took the day off from work to get my box rollin, seems all for nothing now.

On your website you state 'Control Panel Server Reboot' is free, what does that mean exactly? is that free remote reboots?

Thanks for your interest. Yes, this means you can reboot your machine for free automatically through our management console. This is "free" for a limited time only, it's a part of our offering. You'll never pay for this feature for the life-time of the account if you sign up during this offer. After that, charges will apply.

At the current moment we do charge in US funds. Once our merchant servers are up and running, we will be processing funds in Canadian funds.
