Yes the WHM account copier works with copying from DA. Just select it in the dropdown list where it says "Remote server type".
Also, in case you run into any problems, Cpanel.net offers free help in migrating from non-cpanel servers.
There is features from WHM for transfering Directadmin to cPanel server

We also offer a free migration assistance hotline where we'll migrate the sites from DA to cPanel/WHM for you.

The migration assistance from cPanel is great. They have made a lot of improvements even over the past 3 months in their transfer program so it works really well now.

yes I second team-vps .. you can use the Cpanel account transfer feature to transfer your account from DA to cPanel. If you mess up anything cPanel support is there to help you :)

Cpanel Transfer account feature is indeed splendid. In the drop down menu you will see the option for source as DA servers. The migration works well without any difficulty.

I haven't found anyone's CP does transfers as well as cPanel honestly. You can transfer a ton of different types of accounts to your servers and they typically work as they are supposed to.

Our account transfer utilities work quite well. If you do run into any issues though just give us a yell and we'll lend a hand :-)
