Just passing along my transfer experience from Godaddy to Namecheap. It was a pleasant exchange by both registrars.
I asked two questions in the live chat session with two different reps from Namecheap and both answered my questions without hesitation.
Also, I have over 100 domains between godaddy.com and name.com, so I decided to transfer one away from godaddy to namecheap to check out the ease or complicated factor.
Before I transferred though, I searched for coupons and found one for namecheap of SWITCH2NC for $6.99.
I initiated the transfer at 3:35pm central and the domain was transferred by 11:15pm central the same day (5-17-09).
This is not a plug for either, rather just informational post for those who might be seeking answers to questions they may have.
Next will be one from name.com to namecheap and I will post that experience as well.
