Could one give me a solution to this problem.

I don't how and why but every now and then a porn file pop-up keep appearing on my screen. How do you get that off the computer?

I mean I have search my harddrive, search the computer for it and can't find it. Could anyone give me some script, solution anything to solve it.

I would really appreciate it.

How does adaware distinguish between an advert/popup and a part of a website the user might actually want to see?

I would love to block popups, but some popups can be useful (legitimate ones, not spam windows and popunders)

ad-aware doesn't block pop-ups. It searches your computer for spyware (which often causes some pop-ups to appear at odd times amongst other things).

There are pop-up blockers around but I've never used them so have no idea how good they are. The best pop-up killer I use is alt-f4

ahh, i dont have any spyware installed - generally these come from llama programs like kazaa, which i dont use. :)

I use KaZaALiTe, no spyware :stickout:

PopUp Killer has a white-list/black-list feature, and if the sencitivity is set properly, you can whitelist the popups you want, and blacklist the others. Works for other windows/pages as well, because when the window is open you can add it to the blacklist.

I "bet" you actually do have spyware =)

It doesnt just come from kazaaa... run the program, open your eyes.
